Tell Us About Your Leadership Development Programs!

Leading in the 21st Century is an essential goal within the 50th Anniversary Campaign for Equal Opportunity, this includes building on our work in strengthening, elevating, and connecting Latino leadership by supporting the nonprofit capacity development of our Affiliate network.

As part of the planning efforts to meet leadership development needs and opportunities, we would like to deepen our knowledge of the leadership programs Affiliates currently administer and leverage the expertise and best practices within the UnidosUS Affiliate Network. If your agency currently administers leadership development programs, including those that build leaders within your organization and/or that develop external leaders, please complete questionnaire here!

Having this information will be valuable as we continue to work with you to ensure our programming is responsive to your needs, and continues to tap into the expertise, experience, and excellence of the Affiliate network.

Facing Digitalization: A Workforce at Risk

The digitalization of the workplace means that technology skills are no longer a premium, but a necessity. This leaves behind a workforce that lacks the digital skills to compete in jobs that previously did not require technical credentials. Automation threatens to eliminate service jobs across the country like cashiers, servers and grocery baggers. More than one in four African American workers are concentrated in just 30 jobs at high-risk to automation. Without action, the untapped potential of underserved populations who lack access to education, training and resources will struggle to move forward in the workplace. This panel features those leading the work to find solutions for equipping underserved communities with the skills necessary to succeed in tomorrow’s economy.
